Zeke Lau and Tia Blanco were crowned the winners of ABC’s competition series, The Ultimate Surfer, Tuesday night.
Lau and Blanco took home $100,000 each and secured wild card spots to compete on the World Surf League Championship Tour.
They won over fellow finalists Koa Smith and Brianna Cope for the honor.

“The Ultimate Surfer” chose 14 of the world’s up-and-coming Pro surfers to train and live together as they battled it out at the WSL/Kelly Slater Surf Ranch in Lemoore, Calif.. The goal? Competing amongst the best Surfers in the World in the WSL Surfing is now the world’s fastest-growing sport!
Jesse Palmer -former NFL quarterback- hosted, while sports anchor Erin Coscarelli and ‘voice of modern day surfing’, Joe Turpel served as commentators.
Slater served as the main consultant on the series.
