Where activism meets art…Sustainable Coastlines event TODAY

Come join us out by the Duke Statue in the heart of Waikiki TODAY (11/18) from 12-4p for a fun day of interactive education and art.

Ethan Estess and Kaiʻili Kaulukukui collaborated on a life-sized art piece for Vans Checkerboard Day that really packs a punch and will leave you ready to take action.

In addition to this interactive art piece, we will have some pretty epic plastic pollution technologies, like the Trash Time Machine (more info below), on display.

FIGHT FOR CLEAN BEACHES AND HEALTHY OCEANS
JOIN US FOR TWO EVENTS YOU WONʻT WANT TO MISS…
MARK YOUR CALENDARS
It takes a community to clean a beach, and it will take our global ʻohana to keep it clean. Join us on GivingTuesday (11/30) for an all-day live virtual event featuring talk stories, education sessions, and a live beach cleanup.
Even better, when you donate on GivingTuesday (whether itʻs a one-time donation or youʻre signing up as a recurring donor), all donations will be matched up to $20,000 thanks to Saalt and Honolulu Medspa.
Canʻt donate, but looking to get impactful gifts for a loved one this holiday season? Stay tuned for ways to donate without spending the extra $$ through participating partners like All Good, Slowtide, and Meli Wraps.
Donʻt want to wait until November 30th to donate? We are grateful for all donations of any amount, anytime. Each donation notification that enters our email inbox makes our smiles bigger and our beaches cleaner.

Back to the Future!
Weʻre stoked to show off our new Trash Time Machine, created by SEED, today at our Vans Checkerboard Event.
We know what youʻre thinking…what in the Marty McFly are we talking about?!
The Trash Time Machine separates plastic pollution and organic matter (with about 98% accuracy) by speeding up the time it takes to water log the organic matter. Basically, the organic matter sinks and the plastic floats, allowing us to sort plastic more effectively.
Huge mahalo to our donors that help fund projects just like this, allowing us to inspire the next generation of eco warriors. Come by the Duke Statue from 12-4p today to check it out in person!
