Jamie O’Brien to host the 13th Annual Breath of Life Golf Tournament

The Mauli Ola Foundation is proud to announce that Jamie O’Brien will be

hosting SMKFWLR’S 13th Annual Breath of Life Golf Tournament, presented

by Fat Tire. Come join the fun and help raise money to support MOF’s vital

mission to introduce surfing as a natural therapy for cystic fibrosis. This

charity golf scramble kicks off the Labor Day weekend on September 2nd

taking place at the Monarch Beach Golf Links.

What you might not know about Jamie O’Brien is that fresh from his

Pipeline Masters win came out to support Mauli Ola’s very first Surf

Experience Day that took place in Newport Beach back in 2006, putting the

mission on the map. “I’m psyched to have been a part of MOF for 15

years now, creating smiles and memories that last a lifetime,” said Jamie.

The Mauli Ola Foundation has now taken over 3,000 Cystic Fibrosis

patients surfing. The funds generated from this years MOF golf tournament

will go toward our mission of introducing the ocean as a natural therapy to

people with genetic disorders, in particular Cystic Fibrosis patients, as the

salt air helps clear the junk from their lungs. “Our Managing Director, Hans

Hagen has done and amazing job at keeping the mission as vibrant and

successful as ever, leading us through this unprecedent Covid-19 period,

while introducing new projects and initiatives as well.”, said James Dunlop,

President and Founder Mauli Ola Foundation.
