TEAHUPO’O, Tahiti, French Polynesia (Wednesday, August 13, 2025) —Finals Day has been called ON at the Lexus Tahiti Pro Presented by I-SEA, Stop No. 11 of 12 on the World Surf League (WSL) 2025 Championship Tour (CT). The men’s Round of 16 will commence at 7:02 a.m. TAHT. Followed by the men’s Quarterfinals, men’s Semifinals, and the women’s and men’s Finals. It will be an epic day of competition with Teahupo’o roaring back to life with super clean surf in the six-foot-plus range.

With today being the last day of the 2025 regular season, and only Yago Dora (BRA) and Jordy Smith (RSA) having clinched their spots inside the WSL Final 5, there are three spots to still be locked in on the men’s competition ahead of the upcoming Lexus WSL Finals Fiji Presented by Corona.

Italo Ferreira (BRA) and Ethan Ewing (AUS) are all sitting inside the top 5 at the moment, but still need to secure solid results here in Tahiti to guarantee their spots in Fiji.

Griffin Colapinto (USA), Jack Robinson (AUS), and Leonardo Fioravanti (BRA) are currently ranked outside the top 5 and will contest the Round of 16 today. With massive results today at Teahupo’o, all three still have a mathematical chance at moving inside the Final 5 by day’s end.

The second-to-last heat of the day will see current World No. 1 Molly Picklum (AUS) battle reigning World Champion Caity Simmers (USA) as both surfers look to claim their maiden win here at Teahupo’o.
