HONOLULU, HAWAI‘I — AccesSurf is proud to announce the return of the Hawai‘i Adaptive Surfing
Championships (HASC), taking place May 15–19, 2025, at Queen’s Surf Break in Waikīkī.

Now in its 17th year, this internationally recognized competition brings together over 90 adaptive surfers from around
the world, competing across nine divisions as part of the Association of Adaptive Surfing Professionals
(AASP) World Tour.
This powerful event showcases the talent, perseverance, and community spirit of adaptive athletes and
serves as the second stop on the AASP’s global competition circuit. The championships are made
possible through the support of the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority, Southwest Airlines, Kyoya Hotels &
Resorts, North Shore Prosthetics, Twin Fin, ‘Alohilani Resort, High Fives Foundation, and Honolulu
Magazine, Voyage Car Rental among others.

“We are honored to welcome the global adaptive surfing community back to Waikīkī,” said Cara Short,
Executive Director of AccesSurf. “The Hawai‘i Adaptive Surfing Championships provide a world-class
