2010 Dukes Ocean Festival in Waikiki, Hawaii. Competing in the AcesSurf Challenged Athletes division, in the deaf category, defending my championship title from last year. Finals heat, 6 competitors left, testing a gopro hero hd camera on an eyeofmine.com 12 inch arm. First wave resulted in a 9-seconds noseride, netting me 8 points, my 2nd highest scoring wave of the heat. Had a load of fun, even gave away a few waves I had priority for and cheered my fellow competitors on. Ended up winning anyways, extending my latest winning streak to 5 in a row. 2 more and I will break my personal record. :-)
