Teahupoo has been going off all week...here is the recap from the last 4 days of fury all in one convenient location

As you read this, Teahupoo is big and perfect, it has been most of this week and will continue for a couple more weeks (yes, you heard right!). Below we'll be bringing you the latest photos, videos and quotes coming out of Tahiti.

If you’re sick of seeing giant Tahitian barrels and absolutely brutal wipeouts we can understand. But the swell keeps pumping at the End Of The Road and Brian Bielmann is still firing away from the channel so we ain’t stopping until a) the swell fades away b) Brian falls off the boat and into the drink c) There aren’t any more able bodied surfers to ride the waves. If  anything, option c seems to be the most likely.

There's no place like this place, period.

Xtreme Video Captures unreal Teahupoo Spit Spray Session 15 May, 2013 :  Teahupoo on May 2013 with some of the best big wave riders: Laird Hamilton, Benjamin Sanchis, Raimana, Alain Riou, Koa Rothman... Big wave riders from the world over woke up after catching last minute flights to a massive Teahupoo that got bigger during the day. Koa Rothman picked up one of the bombs of the day. Laird, Raimana, Sancho all picked up some epic waves & it was an insane day of surfing Teahupoo's massive tubes! This monster swell will pop the Lanai buoy tonight at 20 seconds and rise all Thursday. Exact timing will be better known as the swell reaches out buoys. Stay tuned.

A new legend is born: Koa Rothman onda do dia - Teahupoo, Tahiti - 13.05.2013

This whomper 12-18' SSW swell that hit Tahiti is on its way to Hawaii Thursday afternoon peaking Friday and Saturday about 1/3 of what you're lookin at. Still though, we will see plenty 4-6' waves and even higher for what will likely be the longest run of swell all summer (I hope we're wrong). Tahiti will see plenty more giant swell. Stay tuned. And in shape.
