Waves, Winds, Weather compliments of Cholos HomeStyle
Light trade winds making for super clean surf this morning. Building NE trades and sunny skies island wide. Tiny NW and SSW swell.
NORTH: Dropping on the N-NW swell at a small 1-2+' but ultra clean and smooth dawn hours with light offshores. West: Makaha is down and dropping this morning from the N-NW+SSW at 0-2' with smooth buttery waves, and calm to light trades. Town Ala Moana, Kaisers, etc. are holding on the SSW at 1-2' maybe occas 2.5' from the SSW w/ glassy clean waves; nice long lines. Should hold consistently all day. Diamond Head: Holding on the SSW w/ slightly bumpy 1-2 occ 3' now, more trade bumpiness into the afternoon. More 3' sets by sundown. Sandy's: Down and holding on a trade swell and on S-SW at 1-2' sets in shore pound; light NE trades filling later making for sideoffshores; East: Makapu'u: Down and holding for now from the N-NE at 0-1.5' lapping in the shorebreak with light onshores.

Quote of the decade "It's a cakewalk" Gerry Lopez on getting shacked at Pipe back in the 70's. It comes from the film Super Session and he told Hal Jepsen who was filming that after you make the bottom turn "it's a cakewalk..." Thanks to Scott Valor to help me recall the details.
