Morning light rain and cloudiness with temps in the upper 60s. Building trades with sunnier skies (windiest along the eastside). Decreasing NW swell but still fun with size.
NORTH: Dropping on the N-NW swell that peaked yesterday at 8-10'+ for best spots this morning. Cloudy with some rain but clean conditions at dawn. Dropping throughout the afternoon with more trade texture midday. West: Makaha is down and dropping this morning from the N-NW at 4-6+' with smooth texture. Town Ala Moana, Kaisers, etc. are up and holding on the SSW at 1-2'+ from the SSW w/ glassy clean waves. Cloudy. Diamond Head: Holding on the SSW w/ slightly bumpy 1-2'+, more trade bumpiness this afternoon Sandy's: Up and holding on combo of S-SW & some north wrap at 2-3'...shore pound; light AM winds. Sideshore trade texture this afternoon. East: Makapu'u: Up and holding for now from the N-NE at 2-3' shorebreak with onshores and a few showers.
