Our most beloved American Surfers - a photo essay

Starting off with our beloved women's world champ, Carissa Moore epitomizes our passion for surfing and patriotism.  Poise, power, style, grace, surfing’s lady liberty frees her fins for her country early and often.

Surfing, it’s a melting pot of seafarers from each hemisphere, from every walk of life. We embrace it, that the sport welcomes all the tired and weary, all the salty and sunburnt. But today, on Independence Day, we pay respect to a select few of the many surfers we’re honored to call Americans, those who grew up paddling out on domestic shores and have gone on to represent the United States of America with pride the world over.
