Inside the Life of Zak Noyle

French magazine Desillusion recently profiled SURFER Magazine photographer Zak Noyle for their “Kidnappers of Moments” video series. Over the course of the past five years, Noyle has become one of the most respected water photographers in the business, garnering fame from within the surf media and beyond. The short moody video showcases Noyle in his element and introduces the viewer into the submerged aesthetic of a surf photographer.

Here’s how Desillusion describes the piece:

“Based in Oahu, Hawaii, surf photographer Zak Noyle spends countless hours in the water creating dramatic imagery and artful interpretations of the magnificent ocean environment. Directed by Pierre David, this short film bring us to Oahu, Hawaii, to learn more about the man and his ambition to share his photographic vision to the largest audience, instantly, through the skills of his iPhone.”
