We are proud to announce the 2012 Verizon Hawaii Surf Team gold medal achievement at the World Junior Surfing Championships in Panama this past April 22. Our young boys and girls very well earned this feat with a sweaty stretch to the finish line.
The celebration, Memorial Day, Monday, May 28 at the Koa Lanai located on the water’s edge at the Outrigger Canoe Club Waikiki. Festivities commence at 5:30pm with music, pupus, drinks, and a slideshow upon arrival; the night will end by 9:00pm.

Dinner will be served at 6:30 sharp, followed by honorable mentions and the premiere of the Verizon Hawaii World Team documentation, “The Road to Gold”.
The team will be “Saluting the Duke, honoring the waterman who started it all; a man who built a lifestyle into a legacy.
Prizes will be raffled off with proceeds going to Accessurf, a non-profit organization who offers surf and swim instruction to the physically challenged. We are very fortunate and grateful for the abilities we have; we respect the practice of Accessurf and wish to help spread the opportunity of feeling the same passion we have for the ocean and sport.
