IBA World Tour, tour manager Terry McKenna explains

“This is a great format that was designed and approved by some of the worlds top riders. Its got everything that the spectators and competitors love and the R4 non-elimination round will allow riders to explore the boundaries of progressive riding” he said.

Defending champion and long-time local Ryan Hardy has been keeping an eye on the charts and says that the infamous right reef is starting to light up leading into the event window.

“The Box is just starting to show signs of life over the last few weeks with a few good days. Its this period of the year that it fires and that’s why the event was scheduled in this time frame” said Hardy.
