The wonderful surfing life at "Kook Paradise" Plus SUP section.

Welcome to Kook Paradise and enjoy the pleasures of 'relaxed' surfing.

Tin Ojeda and Danny Di Mauro have captured and edited a very cool and entertaining surf movie. "Kook Paradise" promises to be the most interesting film release of the year 2012.

You do not learn how to be the perfect surf kook. You simply are a kook, by definition and birth. That is why the footage delivered by Ojeda an Di Mauro is so revealing.

The art of "kookism" or "kookiness" is naive and hard to imitate and "Kook Paradise" easily gathers some of the finest examples. Surf socks, breathtaking warm-up exercises, innovative surf techniques, stylish haircuts and sexy surf poses are all in there.

Happy Birthday A.I. (1978 - 2010). Miss you.

Iconic legend Andy Iron's live's on in our heart and minds and Axel...“Andy was an absolutely gifted individual. I’m lucky to have known him and had the times we had together. I feel blessed that we worked through the differences we had and I was able to learn what I’m made of because of Andy. I got to know a happy, funny, innocent kid who was happy to live every second with the people he loved. I’m so sad. My thoughts are with Bruce and Lyndie and their parents and all of his many friends around the world. It’s a huge and far too premature loss for all of us"...

Team Hawaii takes the Gold at ISA World Masters

Surf News, 22 July, 2012 : With a team groomed in challenging, barreling conditions along the famed North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii’s team was tailor-made for the conditions at Colorado Beach at Hacienda Iguana. Surfing in well-overhead waves on the final day of competition, the Hawaiians won six individual medals at the Nicaragua ISA World Surfing Championship, and clinched the Team Gold Medal and the perpetual Eduardo Arena Trophy.

“The depth of the talent that we brought with us – Sunny [Garcia], Kaipo [Jaquias] and Rochelle [Ballard] – was a pretty big edge to begin with, and then to have Nelson, who’s one of the coolest dudes in the world, and Glenn, who is a master shaper, it was a really good dynamic,” said Mike Latronic, who was both a competitor and team manager for the Hawaiians.
