Hawaii & Australia duke it out during Day 4 of ISA World Juniors

Nicaragua delivers epic surf for Day 4 of the DAKINE ISA World Junior Surfing Championship (WJSC). The swell, as predicted by Surfline, arrived this morning with waves in the chest to head-high range with some overhead sets.

The first perfect 10-point ride of the event was awarded to Australia’s Kai Hing, who launched a huge air-360. Hing generated great speed down the line and as he approached the closed-out section, he took flight, rotated 360 degrees in the air, and landed perfectly.

We were even lucky enough to have our friend Rebekah of Goldfish Kiss out on the beach creating one of a kind eco-friendly beach bags.

Sunday Surf Training - Train your lungs for the hold downs!

Oxygen and confidence may turn a wave set nightmare into a relaxed challenge. So, how can you physically increase your lung capacity?

If you're a small surfer, live in lower altitudes and consider yourself an obese human being, prepare to suffer at the hands of that huge set of waves. And if you're a woman, it's not that good. Those are the worst variables when it comes to breathing power.

Ryder, Pricelille's talented 12 year old, just finished his first surf video. Check this.

Check out this up and comer from Hanalei. He's doin' his own production vids and havin' a blast just being in and outta the water. But it all surrounds surfing. He's been out in the line up everyday since 2010 and competes about once a month. Quite the focus and ambition for someone this age. Good goin' Ryder...keep ridin' ...Aloha, Gq  SNN chief surfin officer
