Mauli Ola Foundation and Turtle Bay Resort, the only destination resort on Oahu’s fabled North Shore, is gearing up for the 2013 Pro Bowl by hosting National Football League stars and top professional surf athletes for a surf experience, golf day and concert to benefit the Mauli Ola Foundation.
The surf experience day will include participation by professional surfers Alana Blanchard; Maya Gabeira, Coco Ho, Rochelle Ballard, Makua Rothman, Kala Alexander, Jason Magallanes, Jamie O’Brien; Reef McIntosh and John John Florence. Later that evening, the resort’s Surfer, The Bar, will host a performance by Grammy Award-winning artist, Hawaii’s own John Cruz and Paula Fuga.
The next day, NFL players Marcus Allen, Christian Okoye, Eric Dickerson, Chris Conte, Tony Gonzalez and this elite crew of surfing professionals will lead in an ocean-side golf day. Both the concert and the golf day are open to the public and tickets can be purchased here
“We are thrilled to join with these top Hawaii surfers and NFL athletes to help support the Mauli Ola Foundation, which provides opportunities for children with disabilities to experience natural ocean therapies,” said Drew Stotesbury, CEO of Turtle Bay. “This inspiring event will help support future surf experience days and children’s hospital visits by the foundation.”
