Mason Ho charging at the historic Billabong Pipe Masters 2011 Bio:
My name is Mason Ho, born 1988. I live on the North Shore of Oahu. I pretty much do the same thing everyday. I wake up, do all the wake up stuff then get out into the water as soon as possible. I don't care if it's dead flat or 40ft. You will for sure see my truck at Sunset Beach, more than likely …
playing "Stephen Stills- Treetop Flyer". Either checking it or surfing. Then I make my way down the peaks towards Rockys, Pipeline/Backdoor, Waimea Bay. When I'm not home I do the same thing somehow but with what I can work with. I love surfing contests because it is a good excuse for me to stay healthy. If I didn't like contests as much as I do I would be a complete surfer lunatic, pull all-nighters, make sure I'm the first guy surfing the next morning doing carves & 10 ft airs that break my ankles in heats or not like the old school legends. My sister's name is Coco Ho and she rips surfing eXtra hard. My dad and I would always tease her for surfing like a girl so now she surfs better then some guys. Michael Ho is my dad and he still smokes Coco and I when he takes us surfing... Any size waves. Uncle Derek is the man big time as well, always making sure me and Coco are surfing because he will find any wave on the island. 1st Hawaiian World Champ 1993.
