Ana leaves the room but not before giving us a scare.

Surf has dropped a lot from the SE at 2′ now and weak. Kauai still has some sets but it’s not near what the peak of 6′ local scale was.

At 8 a.m. Monday, the center of Tropical Storm Ana was located 250 miles west-southwest of Lihue, according to the Central Pacific Hurricane Center. Ana is moving toward the west at 10 mph.
Maximum sustained winds near the center of the storm are around 70 mph with higher gusts. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 105 miles.
